I need food.

We have worked our fingers to the bones  and the next two weeks our paychecks are tied up in rent. I still have to come up with $200 for daycare. I have not eaten since Sunday just to make sure my kids eat. We do not qualify for any assistance because we do make decent money, but we have just fallen into a rut. I feel like I’ve failed my husband and kids. I don’t know how we are going to eat for the next two weeks

Our Brown Bag program provides a monthly bag of groceries  Every week it is our goal to feed 250 people weekly the homeless, the elderly, the hungry children on Chicago’s south side in Cook County.
